I am involved in the Best Buddies club at Bradley and love every bit of it. I absolutely love working with kids and special needs. I have a family of five and three dogs. I am very active and love the outdoors.
My project and why I chose it: I chose to shadow a paramedic for my capstone project. The reason why I chose to shadow a paramedic was because I knew that I have always wanted to go into the medical field. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do but I knew it was going to be something in the medical field though. I had been trying to figure out a plan for the future for awhile now. Having the opportunity to shadow a paramedic really opened my thoughts up. I never realized how big the medical field is. I chose to go through and shadow a paramedic to see what it would be like and if that could potentially be a future career for me. I was very excited to be able to shadow a paramedic.
